Half calf binding in red leather, with marbled boards; edges and corners rubbed, small tear on rear cover at top corner. Title page and front end cover loose but not detached. Owner's signature on front end paper (dated 1914); primary owner's signature (almost illegible) on title page. Discolouration of edges of pages due to age, but a tight, well bound copy. 904 pages.
